During the April 18, 2024, board meeting, Dry Creek's Board of Education passed a resolution to begin shifting from at-large elections to aligning with the California Voting Rights Act (CVRA). The CVRA aims to empower protected classes, such as minority groups, to elect candidates they prefer. By adopting this new system, the district safeguards against costly litigation.
